Thankfully, the developers promised that an entirely separate Resident Evil Village demo will appear later this year in the spring. If you want to experience the game’s atmosphere for yourself, you’ll have to do so on Sony’s current-gen console. The demo also happens to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive. The journey and escape of the Maiden is separate from that of Ethan, and according to producer Peter Fabiano, takes places in an entirely separate timeline. Like with the early Resident Evil 7 demo, the Maiden demo is presented as a standalone experience.
